McDermott impressed with Bills offense doing its job in dominant win over Jaguars

Bills head coach Sean McDermott addressed the media on Monday following their Week 3 win over Jacksonville

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills put on a clinic Monday night with a dominating team performance in a victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, 47-10, at Highmark Stadium.

The offense showed out on national television with Josh Allen leading the way both in the air and on the ground. The Bills quarterback finished his night by going 23-of-30 for 263 yards and four touchdowns, along with 44 yards on the ground on six carries.

The offense ended up scoring five total touchdowns in the first half alone to take a 34-3 lead into halftime.

Offense by committee was the story going into the 2024 season, and was, once again, a headline of Monday night's win with Allen hitting 10 different receivers during the course of the night.

Following the victory, Bills head coach Sean McDermott felt that everyone on the offense was focused on doing their job.

"The guys do a really good job of coming in to work, coming in with a certain focus, and that's really where our focus is every week, is putting in the work," said McDermott during his postgame comments on Monday night. "Preparing the best that we can, and controlling the things that we can."

This is the third-straight week the Bills have scored over 30 points, leaving McDermott impressed with how offensive coordinator Joe Brady has been able to find different ways to win.

"Been very impressed with Joe and the offensive staff, and just the overall collaboration," McDermott said. "I think one of Joe's greatest strengths is that he's a good listener, and that's an important piece."

This is also the second-straight week where the Bills offense did not turn the ball over, nor did they give up a sack to the opposing defense.
