Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - While it wasn't the most perfect of performances on Thursday night at Highmark Stadium, it was still quite the upgrade from weeks prior for the Buffalo Bills.

After three-straight slow starts from the Bills offense, the team managed to get off to a much better start, which helped Buffalo to a 24-18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Orchard Park.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott was pleased with how well Thursday night's game played out, and thought his offense got out to a much better performance from the start.

"It was [offensive coordinator Ken] Dorsey, the offensive staff, Josh [Allen], and the players on offense. They got into a good rhythm, and that what I'm used to seeing," said McDermott following Thursday's victory. "It was fun to watch."

The Bills offense was able to secure over 427 yards of offense on the evening, with Allen tossing for 324 yards and completing 77.5% of his pass attempts. McDermott felt as if this was a massive step up from their previous games.

"Probably the first time, other than maybe in episodes of the [Las Vegas] Raiders game and again [vs. the Miami Dolphins] where it just looked like every play wasn't an adventure. There looked like there was some easy plays, I guess I should say," McDermott said.
