Terrel Bernard out Sunday; Bills place DeWayne Carter on IR

Carter will miss a minimum of four games after undergoing surgery on his wrist

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - Buffalo Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard will not play this Sunday when the team travels to Seattle to face the Seahawks.

Bernard was officially declared out by head coach Sean McDermott on Friday with an ankle injury suffered in last Sunday's 34-10 win over the Tennessee Titans at Highmark Stadium.

The Bills also announced on Friday they have placed rookie defensive tackle DeWayne Carter on Injured Reserve, which means he will be out, at least, the next four games.

Prior to being placed on Injured Reserve, Carter had been declared out of the contest Sunday, and McDermott said he would require wrist surgery and miss multiple weeks.

Wide receiver Curtis Samuel is also out for the game at Seattle with a pectoral injury.

For the Seahawks, wide receiver D.K. Metcalf is officially listed as doubtful with a knee injury.
