Terrel Bernard returns to practice for Bills on Thursday

A pair of Patriots starters are still out

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - Although Terrel Bernard won't be suiting up this weekend against the New England Patriots, it was a good sign that the Buffalo Bills linebacker was back on the practice field Thursday afternoon.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Wednesday that Bernard will not play in the team's regular season finale against the Patriots on Sunday, as he's dealing with a quad injury. McDermott termed Bernard as somewhere between day-to-day and week-to-week.

The Bills are locked into the AFC's No. 2 seed for the playoffs.

Bernard did not practice during Wednesday's walk-through, and was upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday.

Meanwhile, a pair of Patriots starters are still not practicing in their final week of the 2024 season.
