Buffalo N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Sabres announced on Tuesday their roster for the upcoming 2023 Sabres Prospects Challenge this weekend at Harborcenter.
This will be the second-straight season the Sabres will welcome the Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils, Ottawa Senators, and Pittsburgh Penguins to Western New York for the annual prospects tournament.
Buffalo's roster for this year's tournament includes five first-round picks, and 12 players who have already signed their entry-level contracts with the Sabres. Seven players on the tournament roster were also a part of the Rochester Americans' roster when they made their run to the Eastern Conference Final in the Calder Cup Playoffs last season.
The tournament will be a round robin format with the Sabres first playing on Friday against the Canadiens at 7 p.m. ET. They will also play the New Jersey Devils on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET, followed by a matchup with the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday at 5 p.m. ET.
