Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Sabres announced on Friday the re-signing of forward Brett Murray to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000.
Murray finished his 2022-23 season with the Rochester Americans as the third-leading scorer with 49 points (23+26) in 71 games. His 23 goals was also second-best on the team, trailing Jiri Kulich's 24 goals scored for the Amerks.
In addition, Murray played in all but one Calder Cup playoff game for Rochester, tallying four goals and six assists for 10 points.

Over his four seasons with the Amerks, the 24-year-old has played in 205 games and tallied a total of 125 points (56+69). Murray has also recorded six points (2+4) in 21 contests with Buffalo since the start of 2019-2020 campaign.
Murray was a former fourth-round pick (99th overall) of the Sabres in the 2016 NHL Draft.
