Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) – Tyson Jost was an unrestricted free agent for about a half hour on Saturday, as the Buffalo Sabres re-signed him to a one-year contract worth $2 million to open NHL Free Agency.

Jost is coming off a two-year deal he signed with the Colorado Avalanche that had a total value of $4 million.
