During Wednesday's broadcast of "I'm Listening: Stay Connected," Dr. Chris Donaghue goes into the importance of maintaining a separation between work life and home life. Additionally, he speaks with VASSY about keeping up the creativity during the coronavirus pandemic.
When it comes to staying creative, VASSY reveals that this hasn't been a problem. She's been working from home for some time now, so the new normal hasn't been a challenge for her. Her fears come from being concerned about her family members. "I'm kind of used to working from home, so the only thing that freaks me out now is my loved ones," she explains.
When it comes to staying creative, creating new music has been a great outlet for her. "But in terms of staying creative, I'm really trying to work on a lot of new music right now," she says."I have my own studio at home so I try to record everything myself."
She also finds time to talk to her loved ones during her down time. "I talk to people - friends, family, loved ones," she says. "It's really important to stay connected and speak to loved ones."
She even admits that the downtime has been could for her creative outlets. "Sometimes, you just, you also have to remove yourself just to get some stuff done," she explains.
And while social distancing certainly comes with its challenges, VASSY admits that not every day is as effortlessly creative as she has previously suggested. "Some days are better than others, but otherwise, not too bad," she explains.
