Miss Staten Island, Madison L'insalata, came on the show to discuss how she felt about being banned from the Staten Island St. Patrick's Day Parade for being bisexual.
She said that she was hurt and shock because she grew up in staten island and participated in the parade since she was a little kid. Although she was banned, she said that she is grateful that it happened because she now has a platform to talk about it.
She says to anyone who stays true to who they are and is honest with themselves, "there's a community out there, people waiting with open arms waiting to love you and support you and lift you up."
