Long Beach Pride, May 18 - 19, 2024

Long Beach Gay & Lesbian Pride is an annual event in Long Beach, California that takes place during one of the last weekends in May. Established by Long Beach Gay & Lesbian Pride, Inc. (LBGLP), it began in 1984 just one year after the organization started.

WeHo Pride, May 22 - June 30, 2024

For decades, West Hollywood has been home to one of the largest annual Pride celebrations in the world, drawing hundreds of thousands of revelers each June. It has long been the main LGBTQ+ city in Los Angeles, in fact, more than 40% of WeHo's residents identify as LGBTQ, and three of the five West Hollywood City Council members are openly gay.

Pittsburgh Pride, May 31 - June 02, 2024

Pittsburgh's first Pride Parade occurred on June 17, 1973, only four years after the Stonewall riots in New York City.  About 150 marchers trekked uphill from Market Square to Flagstaff Hill in Oakland. The day before, Gay Alternatives Pittsburgh (GAP) chartered a local streetcar. The queer streetcar traveled from Market Square through Castle Shannon, Dormont, Beechview, and back to downtown. That evening a dance was held at the Unitarian Church.

Provincetown Pride, May 31 - June 02, 2024

During Ptown Pride, the entire town comes alive with pride-related events, parties, and discussions. Usually taking place throughout a weekend in June, Provincetown Gay Pride includes everything from a Stonewall Stroll through the city streets (the local equivalent of a Pride Parade), pride cruises, and drag nights.

DC Pride, May 31 - June 09, 2024

The first DC Pride, also known today as Capital Pride, took place in 1972, and since then it has handsomely evolved into one of the biggest, most exciting pride celebrations in the USA. For ten days, you can expect the nation's capital to come alive with a host of lively events including a pride brunch, a block party, and of course one incredible pride parade.

Dallas Gay Pride begins with a day of music and celebration, and closes with the world-renowned Dallas Pride Parade, which paints the streets with fabulous floats and majestic marchers.

Columbus Pride, June 01 - 15, 2024

Since starting in 1981, the event only grew in size with each passing year. While only a few hundred people turned out for the first parade, the 2014 event saw more than 300,000 people participate. In terms of numbers and participants, the only larger gay festival in the Midwest is the one in Chicago, Illinois.

Utah Pride is the largest yearly event organized by the Utah Pride Center, aimed at uniting, empowering, and celebrating the state's diverse LGBTQ+ community. Established in 1977, Utah Pride focuses on creating inclusive, vibrant events for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies to celebrate diversity, equality, and love. The Utah Pride Parade, which began in 1990, attracts around 150,000 participants and spectators annually.

Seattle Gay Pride, June 01 - 30, 2024

Seattle Pride is one of the oldest of its kind in the USA, and has been coloring the city streets each summer since 1974. The event is free and open to the public - no tickets are required. June is Pride Month, so expect 30 days' worth of gay activities, culminating in the Gay Pride Seattle celebration.

Albuquerque Pride, June 02 - 09, 2024

Albuquerque Pride annually celebrates the LGBTQ+ community in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Its rich history began in 1976 when 25 pioneers initiated it to raise awareness and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community's rights following the Stonewall riots in New York.

Renowned for its strong LGBTQ community and 'One Human Family' philosophy, it only makes sense that Key West Gay Pride is always a popular, lively event! While we could say that every day in Key West is a pride day, the annual pride festivities take things to a whole new level.

New Orleans Pride, June 07 - 09, 2024

New Orleans Gay Pride is one of the largest gatherings of LGBTQ people in the United States. The history of the event dates back to 1971, when the Gay Liberation Front of New Orleans staged a gay in celebration. It took the form of a small picnic and welcomed participants to sit in City Park and enjoy a meal together. The picnic was such a success that the group staged similar gatherings around the city in the coming years. It wasn't until 1978 that they established an annual parade that now includes other events.

San Francisco Pride, June 07 - 30, 2024

Featuring one of the oldest and largest parades in the world, SF Pride is a parade and festival usually held at the end of June each year in San Francisco. And, it's a big ol' party: most recently, over 288 groups and an estimated 50,000 marchers took part in the San Francisco Gay Pride Parade, with hundreds of thousands of people watching.

LA Pride, June 08 - 09, 2024

The LA Pride Festival started in 1974 as a street fair on Sunset Blvd and Cherokee Ave and moved to West Hollywood in 1979. Today the LA Pride Festival attracts over 50,000 attendees each year with three stages, activations, and non-profit booths.

The Boston Pride Parade lets you enjoy the city to its fullest, and gives you an opportunity to see the inclusive nature that Boston is known for. This parade has been part of Boston's landscape since 1971, and an estimated 750,000 spectators are said to attend the event each year.

Baltimore Pride, June 10 - 16, 2024

Baltimore Pride started as a small event in 1975 that saw activists come together in a peaceful demonstration. It was such a success that they decided to expand their horizons the following year. For more than four decades, this event served as the ultimate way to celebrate pride in Maryland.

Chicago Gay Pride, June 22 - 30, 2024

Gay Pride Chicago is a huge gay event taking place each year in Illinois' largest city and includes a weekend festival and Parade on Pride Sunday. However, Gay Pride Chicago is just one part of June Pride Month in the city. Historically, in the 1970's and 1980's, Pride events were concentrated during a week called 'Pride Week' in Chicago. Then Pride Week was expanded to 'Pride Month' in order to accommodate the abundance of events.

Denver Pride, June 22 - 23, 2024

Every third weekend in June, the Mile High City is transformed into a resplendent rainbow of love and unity. PrideFest first graced Denver with its presence in 1976, when the GLBT Community Center of Colorado first opened its doors. It is an event that spans across two days and begins with the Pride 5K, which attracts members from the community of all ages.

NYC Pride, June 26 - 30, 2024

Taking place in the month of June, during the height of New York's summer, NYC Pride illuminates the city with a range of LGBTQ-related parties, events, conferences, and of course one incredible and colorful parade.

Houston Gay Pride, June 28 - 30, 2024

While Houston Pride in fact runs for an entire month, usually commencing in May, the main celebrations happen over a weekend in June. And Houston Pride must be doing something right, it is attended by an enormous 700,000 people each year.

Minneapolis Pride, June 29 - 30, 2024

While Gay Pride Week officially started in 1973, it only began because of a protest march that occurred the previous year. That march saw 50 people take part and march towards a local mall to bring attention to the riots that occurred in Stonewall three years earlier. It was successful enough that it gave way to a full week of events the following year.

July 2024

San Diego Pride, July 13 - 21, 2024

San Diego Pride usually features the Pride Parade on a Saturday, preceded by a block party in the Hillcrest gay neighborhood the night before, and followed by a two-day Pride Festival on Saturday and Sunday in Balboa Park. Pride Weekend is believed to be the largest civic event in the city of San Diego. The parade has more than 200 floats and entries, and is viewed by a crowd of nearly 200,000 people.

Portland Pride, July 20 - 21, 2024

Portland's first Gay Pride parade took place 2 years after in 1977. By the early 1980s, Portland's Pride celebration had become an annual tradition, becoming summer's unofficial kickoff. It was renamed in 1982 Lesbian and Gay Pride Week, with more than 2,000 men and women taking to the streets of downtown Portland.

August 2024

Charlotte Pride, August 17 - 18, 2024

Charlotte Pride is a nonprofit organization that believes in helping the LGBTQ community in North and South Carolina. Established in 2001, it is the organization responsible for the major festival and parade that usually takes place around the second week in August. The fun culminates in a festival on Saturday and Sunday, and a parade on late Sunday afternoon.

Oakland Pride, September 07 - 08, 2024

Oakland Pride's mission has been to celebrate the cultures and diversity of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) community in Oakland and the East Bay in California.

Queer Block Island Pride, September 12 - 14, 2024

Block Island is an island in the US state of Rhode Island. Rugged cliffs give way to untouched beaches, and is a popular summer tourist destination for bicycling, hiking, sailing, fishing, and also Queer Block Island Pride. The inaugural Block Island Pride was in 2021, and although relatively new to the Pride scene, we're sure the event is going to continue to go from strength to strength each year.

October 2024

Atlanta Pride, October 12 - 13, 2024

Atlanta is well-known for embracing its LGBTQ community, and the annual Atlanta Pride Parade and Festival is proof of this. Originally scheduled for the month of June, the date was changed in 2008 to the weekend closest to National Coming Out Day in October, and it has remained an October event ever since.

Phoenix Gay Pride, October 19 - 20, 2024

Originally founded in 1981 with the hope of bringing unity and visibility to the community, Phoenix Gay Pride has flourished into an annual LGBTQ celebration that draws thousands of pride enthusiasts from the community. The Phoenix Pride Festival includes entertainment, arts, KidsSpace, Erotic World and of course the Pride Parade. One highlight is the pageant, where a Miss and Mr Phoenix Pride will be crowned.
