The percentage of U.S. adults identifying as LGBTQ has reached an all-time high of nine point 3 percent, this according to a new Gallup report. That's up from 7.6% in 2023. Gallup noted that identifying as queer has nearly tripled since 2012, when only 3.5% of U.S. adults did so. Trans identification remains at just 1.3% of the overall population. Political affiliation also seems to plays a role, with 14% of Democrats identifying as LGBTQ, compared to just 3% of Republicans. More here from our friends at NBCOut.com
