A new Pew Research report finds that over half of LGBTQ Americans—54%—consult astrology or horoscopes at least once a year, nearly double the rate of U.S. adults overall. Tarot is popular too, with LGBTQ adults three times as likely to use it compared to non-LGBTQ people.
LGBTQ women lead the trend, with 63% turning to astrology or tarot annually. Experts say the draw may stem from spiritual needs unmet by traditional religion.
