
As Billie Eilish took the stage on Saturday night at Coachella, hoards of people gathered to watch the 20-year-old powerhouse leave the main stage in flames, after taking on an exhausting day of battling heat, wind and sand.

Early on in her set, as screams and the bellowing echo of the crowd roared, Eilish nonchalantly uttered, “I should not be headlining,” however she proceed to deliver on all the marks that make for a perfect headliner. From surprise guests like Khalid and Damon Albarn of the Gorillaz to delivering unique elements for her hit tracks, Eilish proceeded like a true headliner without hesitation.
The artist stuck close to the same setlist she has been performing on tour, serving her fans addictive upbeat bangers and hauntingly chilling ballads.
Khalid joined Eilish to sing their track “Lovely,” which was an instant crowd-pleaser. Prior to Billie’s set Khalid made a guest appearance with Disclosure earlier in the evening. With rumors flying about Eilish and Albarn collaborating, suspicions were confirmed as the Blur frontman joined the GRAMMY-winning artist to perform “Getting Older” and the Gorillaz track “Feel Good Inc.”
Of course, FINNEAS joined his sister on stage for a tender acoustic interlude and a smashing performance of “Your Power,” which was moving enough to bring about tears.

When the Los Angeles native performed “Ocean Eyes,” the singer hovered over her boisterous crowd on a crane-like machine and had everyone turn on their cellphone flashlights. The request resulted in an angel-like Eilish floating above the Coachella heavens.

Billie closed out her night at Coachella with a medley of her biggest hits, from “Everything I Wanted,” to “Bad Guy” and “Happier Than Ever,” rendering the crowd stunned and proving that she does certainly belong on any headlining festival set.
