Stephen King's "Children of the Corn" spawned a franchise of horror films beginning with the original 1984 movie based on his book.
Nearly 40 years later we're set to get a new take on the classic that will revive the original concept. This week new photos were released that unveiled a first look at the latest adaptation, reports ComicBook.com.
The movie will focus on a 12-year old who recruits other children to go on a bloody rampage, killing corrupt adults in their Nebraska farm town. One bright high school student acts as the town's last remaining hope for survival. No release date has currently been given for the film.
