Robert Williams' Celtics career isn't off to the best start. The Celtics were forced to push their 11:00 a.m. conference call with their first-round pick to noon Friday, because they reportedly couldn't get in touch with him, per the Athletic's Jay King. Williams admits he overslept.

A two-time SEC defensive player of the year, Williams was ranked as the No. 12 player on ESPN's board. The Texas A&M big man curiously fell in the draft, perhaps due to concerns over his work ethic.

Danny Ainge, however, insists the Celtics have no concerns about Williams. In two seasons at Texas A&M, he averaged 11.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per contest. He also has an incredible windmill jam in his repertoire.

ESPN's Chris Forsberg says the Celtics are chalking up the missed call to miscommunication over time zones. Next time, perhaps the Celtics should just have Terry Rozier FaceTime their draft picks. He seems to always get an answer, even if he's calling Ainge during the NBA Draft.
