FS1 personality and former WEEI.com anchor Kristine Leahy is getting her own show. After spending the last couple of years as Colin Cowherd’s sidekick, Leahy is expected to be anchor a 30-minute daily weekday program, the Big Lead reports.

Leahy made the announcement Wednesday on the “Herd.”

Two and a half years of moments like these, arguments about LeBron and Russ, and many life stories. Bittersweet to announce that I am leaving The Herd to host my own show starting this Fall on FS1. I am so excited to share details in the coming weeks, and I hope you’ll watch ❤️ pic.twitter.com/7qGOazBIdg

Though Leahy’s on-air role was primarily confined to updates, she did create headlines last year when she went head-to-head with LaVar Ball. The patriarch of the Ball family told Leahy to “stay in her lane” during an argument, because she once said she would never wear Big Baller Brand apparel.

Leahy, to her credit, kept her composure.

This week, LaVar Ball pulled his sons LiAngelo and LaMelo out of Lithuania's professional basketball league over a spat with their head coach, so things seem to be going great for him.
