NBC Sports Boston anchor Kayce Smith is heading to Barstool Sports, founder Dave Portnoy announced Wednesday.
The rumor was addressed earlier on "Kirk & Callahan" with Gary Tanguay, who hosts the nightly sportscast "Early Edition" on the station.
"Kayce Smith is gone. She's going to Barstool," Kirk Minihane said.
"Yeah. Everybody knows it," Tanguay added.

— Kayce Smith (@KayceSmith) February 28, 2018Smith, who co-hosts "Boston Sports Tonight," was hired last year for the show's launch. Prior to her arrival in Boston, Smith worked for the SEC Network and Fox Sports South. She graduated from Texas A&M University.
Barstool Sports, which recently received an additional $15 million from its majority owner, the Chernin Group, launched its own radio channel on SiriusXM earlier this year. Barstool also partnered with ESPN for a weekly late-night talk show last year, but ESPN ended the agreement after just one episode.
