Tom Brady and Danny Amendola were reunited at practice Monday, and it felt so good to see the two bros hug it out.
The Patriots are practicing with the Lions in Detroit this week ahead of the preseason opener Thursday. Brady and one of his all-time buds met up before the proceedings began.

— Detroit Lions (@Lions) August 5, 2019Amendola climbed his way into the Brady Circle of Trust during his five seasons in New England, where he continuously came up big in the most important games of the year. The veteran wideout was especially pivotal during the Patriots' 2018 Super Bowl run. He caught 26 passes for 348 yards and two touchdowns in three postseason games.
Amendola signed with the Dolphins in free agency that offseason, and offered an honest assessment about Bill Belichick's austerity on his way out the door. "He's an a--hole sometimes," Amendola told ESPN's Mike Reiss. "There were a lot of things I didn't like about playing for him, but I must say, the things I didn't like were all in regards to getting the team better, and I respected him."
Miami released Amendola this year after a mediocre campaign. He signed with the Lions in free agency, choosing to play under Belichick disciple Matt Patricia.
