Every day, countless Internet memes are created and shared. But a scant few of them live on past a couple of hours, or even minutes.
Roger Goodell running the 40-yard dash promises to be one of those.
The NFL commissioner took part Monday in commentator Rich Eisen's 40-yard dash challenge, meant to raise money to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In a shirt-and-tie, Goodell clocked in at 5.41 seconds.

Maybe Goodell was running towards his hearing with Jerry Jones, in which the Cowboys owner is expected to explain why he shouldn't get sacked with $2 million in legal fees for Ezekiel Elliott's domestic violence case and his attempts to subvert Goodell's commissionership.
Suffice to say, the video of Goodell sprinting down the halls of the NFL offices will be repurposed many times. And few of the renditions will be favorable towards him.
