The two youngest Ball boys made their Lithuanian professional debuts Tuesday and made a bunch of mistakes.
LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball touched down in the Baltic nation last week, dropping out of school at behest of their overbearing father. The court was covered with Big Baller Brand logos and referees were decked out in BBB attire. The Ball brothers combined for 29 points in front of roughly 1,500 fans, with LiAngelo scoring 19.
There were a couple of highlights, such as LiAngelo’s open-court dunk and LaMelo’s sweet dish to his older brother. But you’re probably not interested in seeing those. Let’s bring on the miscues:
Early on, LaMelo hoisted a contested 30-footer. He missed wildly.

January 9, 2018 LiAngelo blew a wide open layup. In the words of the Lithuanian announce team, it was a “100 percent scoring opportunity.”

January 9, 2018 Not to be outdone, LaMelo had an awful layup attempt of his own.

January 9, 2018 It’s apparent LaVar Ball’s master plan to move his boys away to the relative obscurity of Lithuania’s professional basketball league was a successful branding opportunity. But his boys’ performances, at least on day one, were less than impressive.
