Working through his first full season of professional baseball with the Single-A Greenville Drive, Triston Casas had a strong day at the plate on Friday with a 2-for-5 performance against the Lexington Legends.

Casas, the Red Sox’ top prospect according to FanGraphs, smoked his 13th home run of the year in 5-0 Drive win, bringing his season OPS to .874, seventh in the South Atlantic League. The 19-year-old first baseman added a single in the fourth inning, but also left four men stranded in his other three at-bats.

Kelley continues to impress

Reliever Trevor Kelley threw another perfect inning for Pawtucket on Friday, tossing a scoreless ninth in a 4-3 Paw Sox loss. Kelley only needed seven pitches to retire the side, and brought his season ERA down to 1.04 in Triple-A. The right-hander has entered 25 times for Pawtucket this season, and exited without giving up a run in 19 of them.
