The Patriots 2020 regular season schedule was announced Thursday night, along with the rest of the NFL’s slate of games for the new season.
Though the announcement came with much of the country still shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, the NFL released a full, traditional 17-week schedule. There have been reports that the league has contingency plans to adjust the schedule as needed moving forward.
New England will open the 2020 season at Gillette Stadium against the AFC East-rival Dolphins in the first game of the post-Tom Brady era in Foxborough. It’s also a rematch of Miami’s upset win in last season’s finale that cost the Patriots a playoff bye.
The Patriots have five primetime games in 2020, including a Sunday Night game in Seattle, a Monday Night Football trip to New York to take on the Jets, a Thursday Night Football game in LA against the Rams, a Sunday Night Football game hosting the Ravens and a post-Christmas Monday Night contest with the Bills at Gillette Stadium.
