Lawrence Guy on D&K jokes about trips to Buffalo, 'Hey, I just got mooned by an old lady!'

Visiting teams often get quite a welcome and send-off when they visit New Era Field in Buffalo.

Bills fans are one of the more passionate groups in the NFL and opposing teams' buses have to drive right through one of the league's more unique tailgating environments to get to the stadium.

Monday morning during a visit with the Dale & Keefe Show on WEEI, Patriots defensive lineman Lawrence Guy described what players see out their bus window in Buffalo and the fact that what the crowds offer up comes regardless of the ages of the fans present.

"Have you been to Buffalo? Those are one of your experiences that you're like, 'Oh, there are kids around. There are kids around. I don't think you can be doing this, man.' It isn't determined by what age you are. The age group, it's a variety," Guy said of the reputation of Bills fans to moon buses or greet them with not-so-friendly hand gestures.

D&K cohost and former Patriots tight end Jermaine Wiggins joked, "Did that old lady just moon us?"

Guy did little to shoot down that possibility.

"What are you doing? Like your grandson is right there. You can't do that," Guy said, playing along. "But it's a unique atmosphere, you know. When you go to a football town, you might get that. And with their fans you get a whole lot of emotion poured out before and after the game. As players, those are just memories you can talk about later on. And be like, 'Hey, I just got mooned by an old lady!' All right."
