Patriots’ rookie punter Jake Bailey earned AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for his impressive busy game in last Sunday evening’s win in Philly.
Bailey punted eight times against the Eagles, notching a 47.6 gross average and an impressive 46.0-yard net. Five of his punts were longer than 50 yards, while six landed inside the 20-yard line. He finished his day of work with a 54-yard boomer downed at the Philly 12-yard line in the final minute of the game with the Patriots leading 17-10.

November 20, 2019 It is the second time Bailey has been named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week this season. He also earned the award for the first time in his career in New England’s Week 3 win over the Jets.
