It's never a good thing to see Julian Edelman go to the locker room early, as he did in the second quarter of Sunday afternoon's win over the Jets with what was announced as a chest injury.
Things seemed even more ominous when the slot receiver did not return for the second half and was officially ruled out of the game in the fourth quarter.
But the news regarding Edelman's health on Monday, now reported as a rib injury, seems to be positive, most notably a report from NFL Network saying that the receiver will "be good" and that he "hasn't been rule out" for this coming Sunday's trip to Buffalo to take on the undefeated Bills with first place in the AFC East on the line.
