Tom Brady informed the entire world via Instagram Tuesday morning that he will not be returning to the Patriots for the 2020 season.
After that bombshell announcement, though, multiple reports indicate that Brady's future NFL home will remain a mystery for the time being with free agency set to open officially Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m.
While NFL Network reports that both the Buccaneers and Chargers have made their interest in Brady known, the immediate and long term future apparently remains uncertain for TB12.
"Brady has yet to decide where he will finish out his career," according to NBC Sports Boston. "The announcement he is leaving New England, a source told me on Tuesday, will be the only announcement from the Brady camp today."
NFL Network had a similar report, noting it's "not likely" that Brady will announce his new team on Tuesday. Apparently one legacy-altering, Patriot Nation-shattering announcement is enough for Brady in one day.
Multiple teams remain in pursuit of Tom Brady and an announcement on his new team is "not likely" to come today, per source. The #Bucs and #Chargers remain in the mix. Sounds like the plan now is for Brady to go dark on everyone until he makes his decision.
