TRIPLE-A PAWTUCKET RED SOX (31-33): L, 8-1 at Lehigh Valley
- Starting pitcher Josh A. Smith surrendered six runs in 1 ⅔ innings. He has allowed 11 runs in 4 ⅓ innings this year, good for a 22.85 ERA, and hitters own an average of .517 against him.
- Right fielder Cole Sturgeon finished with two hits and an RBI. His average sits at .231, a substantial drop off from his .365 average with Double-A Portland.

- Catcher Austin Rei had three hits. While only batting .230, he has hit safely in four of his last five contests and five hits in the past two games.
HIGH-A SALEM RED SOX (31-34): W, 6-1 at Lynchburg
- Salem pitchers Tanner Houck and Joan Martinez combined to only allow one hit.
- Starting pitcher Tanner Houck did not allow a hit in six innings, giving up four walks and striking out three in the effort. The 2017 first round pick has struggled for the majority of the season, as he has 3-7 record with a 5.50 ERA and a 1 K/BB ratio.
- Second baseman Brett Netzer doubled twice, increasing his average to .309.
SINGLE-A GREENVILLE DRIVE (23-43): W, 3-2 vs. Rome
- The Drive won on a walk off walk, as left fielder Jordan Wren earned a free pass with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eleventh.
- Second baseman Tanner Nishioka doubled twice and drove in two. He raised his average to a scorching .340 through 16 games with Greenville.
- Starting pitcher Denyi Reyes dealt six scoreless innings, striking out ten in the process. For a struggling pitching staff, Reyes has been a lone brightspot. He has struck out 82 batters in 77 ⅓ innings, good for an 8.2 K/BB ratio, and has a 5-3 record accompanied with a 1.85 ERA.
