TRIPLE-A PAWTUCKET RED SOX (48-58): L, 3-2 at Syracuse
-- Designated hitter Adam Lind smacked his 10th home run of the season
-- The team went 1-for-11 with runners in scoring position.
- Left fielder Sam Travis doubled and scored a run.
DOUBLE-A PORTLAND SEA DOGS (43-63): L, 7-6 vs. Erie
- Left fielder Deiner Lopez struck out with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth. Lopez went 0-for05 with four strikeouts on the night.
- Starting pitcher Teddy Stankiewicz allowed five earned runs in seven innings. He struck out six during the effort.
- The Sea Dogs left 11 runners on base and only hit 2-for-9 with runners in scoring position.
HIGH-A SALEM RED SOX (50-56): L, 8-1 at Lynchberg
- Second baseman Brett Netzer had two hits and notched an RBI. He is now hitting .296 on the season.
- Starting pitcher Kevin McAvoy's ERA ballooned to 4.80, as five runs scored in five innings pitched.
- Relief pitcher Yankory Pimentel walked four in 2 1/3 innings, while surrendering two earned runs.
SINGLE-A GREENVILLE DRIVE (47-60): Suspended due to rain
SHORT SEASON-A LOWELL SPINNERS (22-22): W, 8-0 at Hudson Valley
- Center fielder Jarren Duran hit a solo homer, his second of the year. Duran scored twice and is batting .348.
- Relief pitcher Hunter Haworth allowed two hits in five shutout innings and struck out seven.
- Third baseman Xavier LeGrant smacked his second home run of the season. He also walked and recorded two RBIs.
