Here's what happened in the Red Sox farm system on Sunday.
TRIPLE-A PAWTUCKET RED SOX (48-56): L, 8-0 vs Charlotte
-- The PawSox stranded 11 runners. Catcher Dan Butler led the team with two hits, increasing his average to .206.
-- Starter William Cuevas allowed seven runs (5 earned).
-- Reliever Jordan Weems, a former third-round pick who transitioned from position player to pitcher, made his Triple-A debut throwing three innings of one-run baseball. He flashed a fastball in the mid-90s.
-- Robby Scott threw two scoreless innings, bringing his ERA in Pawtucket down to 2.13.
DOUBLE-A PORTLAND SEA DOGS (43-62): L, 4-1 at Trenton
-- Josh Ockimey was responsible for Portland's only run, blasting a solo homer in the fourth inning for his 14th of the season.
-- Sea Dogs starter Mike Sharawyn took the loss, allowing three runs on a career-high nine hits in six innings.
-- Ockimey, Chad De La Guerra and Austin Rei all had two hits on the day. Rei notched a double and a triple.
HIGH-A SALEM RED SOX (50-55): W, 5-2 vs Winston-Salem
-- Starter Darwinzon Hernandez earned his fifth win of the month, allowing two runs and striking out seven in five frames. The lefty's record now sits at 8-5 with a 3.97 ERA.
-- Jerry Downs (10) and Chris Madera (2) both homered for the Red Sox.
-- Relievers Hunter Smith and Algenis Martinez combined for four scoreless innings to seal the victory.
SINGLE-A GREENVILLE DRIVE (46-59): W, 3-2 at Charleston
-- Durbin Feltman, this year's third-round pick, impressed. The reliever out of TCU threw one scoreless inning of relief, allowing zero hits, zero walks and one strikeout on 13 pitches.
-- Starter Hildemaro Requena threw six innings of one-run baseball while striking out a pair, earning the W. His record now sits at 4-3 with a 5.04 ERA.
-- Tanner Nishioka logged his third consecutive three-hit game of the series. The third baseman is now batting .316.
SHORT-SEASON SINGLE-A LOWELL SPINNERS (21-21): L, 7-1 vs State College
-- Just about a week after the Spinners' 11-game win streak was snapped, they are in the midst of a new streak. Except for this time, it's a five-game losing streak.
-- First baseman Trey Ganns went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk, while catcher Kole Cottam went 1-for-4 with the team's sole RBI.
-- Taylor Ahearn took the loss for the Spinners, throwing three innings allowing five runs (three earned) with one walk.
