Here is what happened in the Red Sox farm system on Sunday.

TRIPLE-A PAWTUCKET RED SOX (28-32): W, 11-1 vs. Indianapolis

-- Pawtucket did the majority of their damage with two outs Sunday -- scoring five runs in the third inning and four in the fourth all with two outs.

-- MLB veteran and Pawtucket designated hitter Adam Lind logged a multi-hit effort Sunday. The 34-year-old went 2-5 with a double and two RBI's, bringing his batting average up to .239 with the PawSox.

-- Reliever Tyler Thornburg made another rehab appearance throwing a scoreless first inning, while allowing zero hits and one walk. He threw 12 of his 17 pitches for strikes and all 11 of his fastballs registered between 93 and 95 MPH. Thornburg has appeared in 8 1/3 innings during this stint for Pawtucket and has allowed just two earned runs. PawSox manager Kevin Boles said Thornburg felt "really good" after Sunday's outing.

DOUBLE-A PORTLAND SEA DOGS (22-39): L, 7-2 vs. Akron

-- Sea Dogs starter Dedgar Jimenez struggled going seven innings, allowing four earned runs, but recorded seven strikeouts. The outing brings his record to 1-5 with a 5.81 ERA.

-- Portland's lone spark of offense came off the bat of Jantzen Witte. The third baseman launched a solo homer in the sixth inning for his sixth home run of the season and his 30th RBI.

-- Akron plated three unearned runs thanks to three errors by the Sea Dogs defense.

HIGH-A SALEM RED SOX (28-31): L, 4-3 at Myrtle Beach

-- An eighth-inning-rally wasn't enough for Salem. The Red Sox cut the lead from 4-0 to 4-3, but couldn't plate the tying run.

-- Salem didn't record a hit until the fifth inning, and only one player, center fielder Chris Madera, recorded more than one hit on the day. Madera went 3-for-4 raising his average to .220.

-- Starter Darwinzon Hernandez went one inning letting up two earned runs and walking four. His record falls to 3-3 this season.

SINGLE-A GREENVILLE DRIVE (21-40): L, 7-4 vs. Charleston

-- One bad inning led to a Greenville loss Sunday as Charleston plated six runs in the fifth inning to secure the victory.

-- Starter Kutter Crawford's record drops to 0-3 and a 2.81 ERA despite an impressive start to his day. Crawford was scoreless through four frames allowing just two hits before the RiverDogs jumped all over him in the fifth.

-- Third baseman Frankie Rios shined for the Drive in the loss. Rios reached base in four out of his five plate appearances with two hits, including a double, and two walks.
