On Sunday afternoon, the Bruins looked like a team hungry for the Stanley Cup Final while the Hurricanes looked like a team simply just happy to be in the conference final.
The Bruins won 6-2 in Game 2 to take a 2-0 series lead.
With four minutes remaining in the first period, the Bruins struck first. Marcus Johansson carried the puck from the corner and found Matt Grzelcyk who wristed one straight through Petr Mrazek to make it 1-0.

— Sportsnet (@Sportsnet) May 12, 2019After a Justin Williams tripping penalty, the Bruins first power play unit went to work. Just five seconds into the man-advantage, David Pastrnak fired a shot that Mrazek stopped, but Jake DeBrusk was there to put home the rebound to make it 2-0.

Four minutes into the second, Connor Clifton extended the lead to three.

The Bruins power play quickly cashed in, as Grzelcyk got his second of the afternoon.

— Boston Bruins on CLNS (@BruinsCLNS) May 12, 2019The Hurricanes didn't leave TD Garden without getting on the board, as Williams tipped one past Tuukka Rask. Then the Canes added another when Rask misplayed the puck and Teuvo Teravainen capitalized to cut the lead to 6-2.
The Bruins outshot the Hurrcianes 25-23 and Rask finished with 21 saves on 23 shots. Mrazek countered by letting in six goals on 25 shots.
Game 3 is Tuesday night in Raleigh, North Carolina. Puck drop is slated for 8 p.m.
