After Boston originally announced that it would trade Aron Baynes during the NBA Draft, the move has now been made official.
The Celtics announced Saturday that the organization has traded Aaron Baynes and the draft rights to Ty Jerome to the Suns. In return, Boston receives a future protected Milwaukee first-round draft pick, which Phoenix had previously acquired in a trade with Eric Bledsoe and Greg Monroe.
During the last two seasons with the
Celtics, the 6-foot-10 center averaged 5.8 points and 5.1 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game, while shooting 47.1 percent from the field.
