While many expected that the Celtics would try to trade up in the NBA Draft Thursday, it looks like that may not be the plan anymore.
Many were anticipating possibly trying to trade up for the No. 4 pick earlier in the week, and then early Thursday night, there was word that Boston was considering trading up for the No. 5 pick.
According to Adam Himmelsbach now, "there are no indications that the Celtics will trade up."
Though it is important to note that this could change in an instant.
The Celtics are currently scheduled to pick three times in the first round at Nos. 14, 20 and 22.
This stuff all changes suddenly, but hearing that as of now there are no indications that the Celtics will trade up.
