While most of the NBA world was still learning about Kawhi Leonard's agreement to join the Clippers in addition to Paul George, which occurred at 1:54 a.m. on the East Coast, Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was quick to "break" other NBA free agency news that he seemed to believe had gone unnoticed.

Edelman has always shown his support for New England teams, even wearing a Bruins jersey to minicamp during the NHL Playoffs back in June, but this tweet takes his appreciation to a new level. Edelman has proven to be a talented athlete, but considering that he was the MVP of Super Bowl LIII, joining the Celtics would probably be a tough sell to Bill Belichick.
