Isaiah Thomas is making friends in Los Angeles almost as quickly as he did in Cleveland.
The former Celtics guard, playing for his third team in less than a year, needed to be separated from teammate Julius Randle during a sideline argument caught on camera by ESPN on Wednesday night.
The 5-foot-9, 185-pound Thomas was no match physically for the 6-8, 250-pound Randle, but that didn't stop tempers from flaring before Lakers center Brooks Lopez guided Randle away. The Lakers ended up dropping a 117-106 decision to the undermanned Warriors. Thomas had 20 points and seven assists, while Randle posted a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds on 8-of-10 shooting before fouling out.
