Jaylen Brown and Jae Crowder were like brothers in Boston, but they want to crush each other as rivals.
Wednesday night's round went to Brown, and he made sure Crowder heard about it after sinking the winning 3-pointer in Boston's 97-94 victory over Crowder's Jazz in Utah.
Speaking to ESPN after the game, Brown disclosed the good-natured exchange the two former teammates shared after Brown's step-back game-winner.
"He said that hurt him. That hurt him real bad," Brown said. "I said, 'I wanted it to. I wanted it to sting a little bit.'"
