J.D. Martinez has provided nothing but fireworks for the Red Sox this year, which makes the following animation perfect.
Daren Willman, known for creating the hugely popular Baseball Savant site that provides StatCast data to the masses, posted it on his Twitter feed after Martinez blasted his 42nd homer on Wednesday against the Orioles.
It shows all of Martinez's blasts this season, and unsurprisingly, they're to all parts of the park. Unlike a dead-pull slugger such as teammate Mookie Betts, Martinez can take you deep anywhere, as this animation makes clear.
