J.D. Martinez celebrated his 19th birthday at Fenway Park and his sister has pics to prove it

J.D. Martinez should eventually look good in Red Sox colors. He got a head start on that process more than a decade ago on his 19th birthday.

Courtesy of his sister's Instagram account comes photographic proof that Martinez spent his 19th birthday, on Aug. 21, 2006, at Fenway Park. The Red Sox lost to the Yankees, finishing a five-game sweep that effectively knocked them from playoff contention. In the two photos shared by his sister, Martinez sports different Red Sox t-shirts. He looks right at home in both of them.
