Mookie Betts left Saturday's game against the Orioles with a left foot injury after a collision at home plate left him limping off the field.

Betts was injured in the first while scoring on Andrew Benintendi's double. The throw took Orioles catcher Chance Sisco into the base bath as Betts slid, and his left leg appeared to jam into Sisco's shin guard as the two players collided. Betts remained on hands and knees for a few moments before rising slowly to his feet and limping to the dugout.

He returned to the field in the bottom of the inning and batted one more time before being lifted at the start of the fourth, with Blake Swihart coming out to play left field, Jackie Bradley sliding over to right, and Benintendi assuming center field duties.

Betts was diagnosed with a left foot contusion, and X-rays were negative. He finished 0-for-1 with a run and a walk.
