Red Sox lineup: Andrew Benintendi sits, J.D. Martinez starts in left field

So much for Mookie Betts at second base, but the player J.D. Martinez will replace in the starting lineup for Game 3 of the World Series is mildly surprising -- Andrew Benintendi.

Jackie Bradley Jr. had been assumed to be the player to sit when the action shifted to L.A., but Benintendi will instead start the game on the bench vs. Dodgers right-hander Walker Buehler.

Other newcomes to the lineup include left-handed hitters Mitch Moreland (first base) and Brock Holt (2B). Holt will start at second in place of Betts, who had been theorized to be a possibility there, which would have allowed all three starting outfielders to stay in the lineup.
