J.D. Martinez continues to amaze fans at the plate. On Tuesday night, the slugger blasted his league-leading 20th homer of the year.
The drive to left-center field came off the bat at 108.2 mph and went an estimated 431 feet before striking a light tower above the Green Monster. The two-run homer put the Red Sox up 2-0 in the first inning against his former team, the Detroit Tigers, helping the Red Sox to a 6-0 win.
It should be a fun summer watching Martinez swing the lumber and battle for the home run title.
