Since returning from the disabled list on June 11, Mookie Betts hadn't quite looked the same as he had before his injury last month. But that all changed after a recent video session, and Betts got back to usual ways during Thursday's 9-2 win over the Twins.
Betts hit his 19th home run Thursday, with it traveling 381 feet at 99.6 mph, to help the Red Sox avoid the sweep. Betts went 3-for-6 in the game, boosting his average to .333 over the last week with an OPS of .907.
Look out MLB, because it looks like Betts is back to swinging the lumber at an MVP level.
