After an offseason of speculation as to whether or not Rob Gronkowski would be back on the field in 2018, we have our answer.
The Patriots tight end announced via his Instagram Tuesday evening that he will play the upcoming 2018 season after meeting with coach Bill Belichick. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Gronk's agent Drew Rosenhaus also was present in today's meeting.

Gronkowski told reporters following Super Bowl LII that he would evaluate his future going forward. The four-time All-Pro tight end finished the 2017 season with eight touchdowns on 69 receptions for 1,084 yards.
