Charles Barkley hosted SNL this week and was joined by Alex Rodriguez for a sketch highlighting the NFL’s concussion problem.

In the fictional show, “The Champions,” Kenan Thompson played a retired football player while Rodriguez and Barkley played themselves and the three debated which sport is tougher between the NBA, MLB and NFL.

Rodriguez couldn’t keep a straight face, breaking into a fit of giggles every time Thompson spoke.

Thompson’s confused character, D.C. Timmons, passionately explains why football is tougher than baseball and basketball, but also calls everyone “Greg” and clearly has CTE.

Today on The Champions, we talk to some of the best athletes of our time... Charles Barkley, @AROD and... D.C. Timmons? #SNL pic.twitter.com/0b02qQF0H3

The punchline is Timmons only played eight games in the NFL over nine seasons and still suffers the effects of concussions.
