The Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame honored Brandi Chastain on Monday night and unveiled a bronze plaque of her face that could not have looked less like her.

The internet went crazy on Tuesday after the photos surfaced and compared the plaque to everyone from Gary Busey and Mickey Rooney to Peter King, Bill Belichick and Babe Ruth. It should be noted all of those people are men.

"It's not the most flattering," Chastain said of the plaque. "But it's nice."

Yikes.

The Hall of Fame announced on Tuesday the plaque will be fixed.

"We're going to redo it," said Kevin O'Brien, the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame president and chief executive officer. "We weren't happy with the rendering. It was not a great job."

That is an understatement.
