In a pair of disturbing videos that surfaced on Monday, Delonte West was attacked in the middle of the street in Washington D.C. after an altercation.
The former NBA guard was also seen handcuffed talking to police and accused another man of pulling a gun on him.
West played in the league for eight seasons from 2004-2012. In 2008, he revealed he suffers from bipolar disorder.
Teammates and fans expressed support for West on Twitter and want to get him help.

January 21, 2020 Just catching up to the Delonte West video. We have a serious mental health crisis in this country, and that begins with the lack of available insurance to cover the costs and access to facilities. I truly hope he gets the help he needs.
