-- Mookie Betts has a lot to be happy about.

In the past few weeks alone, he has won a World Series, a Gold Glove, a Silver Slugger, welcomed a daughter, and then won the AL MVP on Thursday night.

Betts reacted to the most recent good news on social media alongside pictures of himself with his family captured by the Red Sox.

"Couldn't ask for more!," Betts captioned the photo on Twitter.

As Jared Carrabis pointed out, this caps off a year to remember for Betts:

Fine. Then, Mookie Betts is the first player in baseball history to win a World Series, an MVP, a Gold Glove, a Silver Slugger, a sex trophy and bowl a perfect game in a one-year span. https://t.co/ASc4PFI08u

-- Patrick Mahomes’ love for ketchup is giving him some extra incentive this season.

The Chiefs quarterback loves putting ketchup on his steak and Heinz has offered to give him free ketchup for life if he finishes this season with 57 touchdown passes.

Hey @patrickmahomes5, you give us 57 touchdowns, we’ll give you Heinz on your steak for life. https://t.co/UeZdmMZUnv

ESPN The Magazine recently found out about Mahomes’ palate during an interaction with him at a restaurant.

"At a restaurant recently, his mom, Randi, recognized an unfilled desire as he dove into a steak," Seth Wickersham wrote. "'Just ask for it,' Randi said. 'I know you want it.' Patrick wouldn't. So she asked for the ketchup and slipped it to him."

He also puts it on macaroni and cheese.

But this going to be a tall task. Mahomes will need to throw 26 touchdown passes in the final six games to reach 57 this season.

So maybe next year.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “I’m a feisty guy, everybody knows that. I have to be that way, I’m [5-foot-7>. So I have to carry an edge or chip, so that’s just how I am and that’s what’s gotten me to where I am. So it’s nothing personal, that’s just the type of person I am, the player I am." -- Dion Lewis, on the comments he made about the Patriots after the Titans' win over New England on Sunday
