-- The city-wide party for the World Champion Red Sox continued on Thursday night when the team was honored by the Celtics during their game against the Bucks at TD Garden.

Red Sox players brought the World Series trophy onto the court during the game’s first timeout and the crowd went absolutely nuts.

The Celtics used some of that winning energy and beat the Bucks 117-113.

-- There were only six people arrested during the Red Sox World Series parade in Boston on Wednesday but one of them was a teenager carrying a loaded gun.

The 17-year-old, from Somerville, was searched by Boston Police after someone else at the parade approached a police officer on Tremont Street around 1 p.m. saying they had seen what looked like the handle of a gun in a man’s waistband.

Police found the gun, three bags of marijuana, assorted loose pills, and cash on the man.

He was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and possession of a large capacity feeding device.

His bail was set at $50,000 and he faces home confinement with GPS monitoring if he makes bail.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “So I'll use the platform the right way. Like I said before, and I know the headlines don't show it, I said I respect the president of the United States and I know he helped our country. So whenever we have to make that decision we'll make it and it's going to be respected." -- Alex Cora, to OMF, on whether or not he will go to the White House
