-- The city-wide party for the World Champion Red Sox continued on Thursday night when the team was honored by the Celtics during their game against the Bucks at TD Garden.
-- There were only six people arrested during the Red Sox World Series parade in Boston on Wednesday but one of them was a teenager carrying a loaded gun.
The 17-year-old, from Somerville, was searched by Boston Police after someone else at the parade approached a police officer on Tremont Street around 1 p.m. saying they had seen what looked like the handle of a gun in a man’s waistband.
Police found the gun, three bags of marijuana, assorted loose pills, and cash on the man.
He was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and possession of a large capacity feeding device.
His bail was set at $50,000 and he faces home confinement with GPS monitoring if he makes bail.
