Justin Verlander charged $1 million for 'Dodger Killer' at Beverly Hills Hotel restaurant

Justin Verlander received quite the surprise on Friday when a waiter in Beverly Hills added a $1 million charge to his bill for a "Dodger Killer."

The Astros pitcher posted a picture of the receipt from the Beverly Hills Hotel's Cabana Cafe showing the huge extra charge. Verlander and the Astros beat the Dodgers in the World Series last season.

#BeverlyHillsHotel really making me pay for that World Series win ---- Thanks for the great lunch as always! https://t.co/KjNKTKjyZF pic.twitter.com/IyECZPhLhE

Verlander's tweet shows the rest of the bill wasn't cheap either, as he paid TEN DOLLARS for a cranberry juice.

And I know this is Beverly Hills and of course Verlander can afford it, but according to the menu at the Cabana Cafe, the $42 McCarthy Salad is simply "Romaine, Iceberg, Organic Chicken, Egg, Roasted Beets, Bacon, Avocado, Cheddar, Tomato, Balsamic Vinaigrette."

That's more outrageous than the $1 million charge, actually.

Former tennis player Mardy Fish was dining with Verlander and also tweeted a picture of receipt, saying he took care of the tip.

Don't go to lunch with @JustinVerlander in LA. Dodger fans everywhere! #ileftthetip #mysaladwas42bucks pic.twitter.com/Z3sx6IZfPO
