The Lowell Spinners have offered to host a boxing match between Donald Trump and Joe Biden after a recent Twitter battle between the two.
The team is billing the fight as the "Slasher at LeLacheur," as its proposed location is the Spinners’ field, LeLacheur Park.

March 22, 2018 "It's a shame this feud has escalated the way it has, and the American people deserve better. Instead of a war of words, let's give the two of them a chance to settle their differences the old fashioned way, in the ring, with the great Micky Ward officiating," Spinners owner Dave Heller said. "Boxing fans like me remember the 'Thrilla in Manila' and the 'Rumble in the Jungle,' but everybody, Republican and Democrat alike, would remember the 'Slasher at LeLacheur!'"
The Spinners will also host a March Madness-style tournament called "Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em Robots Rumble" in the ballpark. Contestants can pick their fighter, Trump (red) or Biden (blue), based on who they think will win the "Slasher at LeLacheur." If the blue robot wins, the winner will receive free ice cream (which is a Biden favorite) for a year at the park and each blue fighter will win a free ice cream cone. If the red robot wins, the fan who wins will get free cheeseburgers (a Trump favorite) at LeLacheur for a year and each red fighter with earn a free cheeseburger that night.
